5 things I’ve learned in this life.

What I have learned about life, man, 21 years of some crazy things from my own decisions to things just happening to me and my family.

I have learned a few thing I would like to share with you:

1. Life happens.
I don’t know if you know this or not ,but crap happens. Sickness, diseases, death, heartbreak, separation from friends we thought would last forever, loneliness, anxiety of the next step, people making stupid decisions we can’t stop. It is what we do with what happened and our response to it, is what defines us. That will determine the outcome of our life once it passes.

2. We are Blessed.
It has taken a very long time, but the realization of being blessed has recently set in this past year. From parents that love the junk out of me.(literally) I can drive. Wake up in a warm bed. Go out to eat. Run and workout. Communicate. An amazing extended family as well as amazing siblings.

Financially stable and abundantly blessed with more then I need. I am still breathing. Protected from many horrible situations. No matter where you find yourself you have been blessed with countless things.

Instead of counting all the negative or horrible things that have happened, count the blessings that are and have been in your life all along. Even when you didn’t recognize or acknowledge them.

3. God is ALWAYS Faithful.
I don’t care where you find your self right now in this moment, but HE(God) is going to be faithful.

He is going to show up.
He is going to speak to you.
He is going to provide for you.
He is going to protect you.
He is going to heal them, or you.
His promises are not changing and never will.
Seasons will change in our life, but God never will.

I don’t care if you are at the top of the mountain moving and excited for what God is doing, or in the valley on the ground not even moving.

God is ABOUT To show how Faithful He truly is.
In His timing…
But guess what He is timeless.
Which means He never is late, but
He is always right on time.
If He answers it in 10 years a prayer we prayed when we where a kid.. He was not late.
The moment you spoke a prayer the power was released towards God and God started to send His power right back to you.

4. We will fail. And that’s okay.
When we mess up or miss it, it’s in our decisions when we hit the ground on how we react and get up affects what happens next time we try and step over that same obstacle.

It’s okay if we fail, but it’s just not okay to stay there.

Failure just brings strength to overcome.

Failure is okay. It will teach us!
Right now in our world failure is looked down upon, if you fail you are an out cast. Or you won’t get hired to this next job. You won’t get through college. You won’t be able to do that now.

It is okay to fail once, but you have to learn and change! If you don’t learn and change from when you fail it will be poison to your bones.

You will continue to fall and fall by the same thing until you finally learn and change from your failures, that you may not fail in that specific spot again.

5. Sometimes the greatest reward comes from, the greatest risk.

When we take leaps of faith with God to something that scares us, the pay out and what He has instore is so much greater then we see now.

When we let go of something we really really want to hold onto that we think it’s a benefit, but clearly it’s not. What He has in store is so much greater.

When we let go of our dreams or plans for tomorrow, and trust Him and take action towards His heart and seek Him. He will add all those things and they’ll be immeasurably more then you can imagine.

When we consider something a risk with God, or how hard it’s going to be. God has it already handled and with Him there is no loss, nothing is wasted with Him. No time, no energy, no passion, no emotions, nothing is wasted.

If he really and clearly spoke to to you and not some person or yourself talked you into it, it is going to be one of the greatest moments or reward of your life.

I’m still growing in basically all of these areas. They are just some areas God has helped me grasp a little more then others.

Blessings.

Joseph iii
