Some days I feel like God likes to challenge me in every area of my life just to see if I am willing to change, or drop everything just for His name sake. As He challenges me with what has spotted my life with, honestly I was not to sure what He meant at first. If you do not know what He is asking of you, ask Him what He is challenging you with!
Isaiah 40:6;
6. A voice says, “Call out.” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. 7. The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. 8. The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
We must ask our father when He tells us to do something that we might not truly understand just yet, we must be honest and trust Him enough that when we ask our father what or how to do something that He is going to tell us.
It is just like our fathers on this earth, honestly no good father would just command you to do something and not tell you how to do it. Maybe He just wants to see if you will ask Him? Yes, our father likes to put us in places we might not know how to handle things or do things, that means we ask Him on how to do these things. He might not answer right away, BUT He will answer in His timing. Do not just get up and leave somewhere God has placed you just because you do not understand or know why He has placed you there.
He has ordained every step for you specifically for certain places, and more importantly for certain people to hear about HIM, not hear about you. When we get into that mindset of our calling or our visions or dreams for our life is about us or for us to “reach” something, we may need to take a step back and look why God placed us here on this earth for the first place. We are here to share His love to the broken hearted, lost, forgotten, we are the Love.
We are the miracles someone could be praying for their entire life. We are to help usher more people into the kingdom of heaven and be the vessel’s of the holy spirit to plant seeds into people’s life that they might have a life change and chase after the Alpha and Omega. The Great I Am did not place us on this earth that we may get glory for our selves or accomplish task or just put a check mark on our bucket list that we did something cool. No, He has placed us here specifically to show His glory, His power, His Love, His awe factor, to share about where people belong and who people are in Christ.
If you do not know about this Love of God, I would love to share a little story, if you happen to have a little more time to read.. It began about two thousand years ago, with a man named Jesus. He lived a perfect life, no lying, no bitterness, no lust, no pride, no sin. Jesus went and taught of Gods love and what God has in store for the future and the power God has given Him, because He is the Son of God. Since He went through His life perfect, the teachers of the word back then did not like Him because they had nothing to get him in trouble with.
They did not like Him because supposedly He was lying and doing many different things to be accused of a false teacher. A day came when a close friend who traveled with Him, and who was a pupil of his as well, betrayed Him.. When he betrayed Jesus the teachers and guards took him. They placed Him in front of an authority and the authority pleaded with the people to let Him go because he could find no wrong in Him. The crowd shouted back at Him, “crucify!” The leader at the time took Jesus back and had his men scourge him over the 40 times.
The whip they used had rocks, bones, teeth of animals, embed into the leather of the wrap. After Jesus was scourged, He was brought before the people once again, the Leader at the time believed the people would be fine with what he had done to Jesus but they where not. They shouted again, “crucify!” he finally gave into the crowd and gave Him over to be crucified.
Jesus was forced to carry a cross the very thing that He will be dying upon. It weight is a weight of a tree only cut down and hammered together. it is not smooth it is rough hanging over his torn up shoulders from being scourged. He carries it for over 2 miles, through a city and up a mountain. They placed Him upon it had and hammered nails through His hands from side to side because they had His arms stretched apart, then they stacked His feet and hammered one nail through both His feet to the cross.
The on lookers shouting insults, and even gambling for His clothes. He finally takes His last breath upon that cross, His last words He utters “it is Finished”. As He speaks a great earthquake shakes the earth, the people stand in awe… Some respond, “surely this was the Son of God…” They took Him off the cross, and placed Him in a grave and rolled a stone in front of it..
You would think the story would end there. It doesn’t. 3 days later, Jesus rose again. That day Jesus beat death, He laid death in His grave. Death has no power over us any longer. Because of that Man.
That story has been being told for over thousands of years now, and because of that story we have been able to now be consider God’s sons and daughters.
Jesus, the man who’s life was perfect, died the most gruesome death in all of history that we may not have to. His blood was spread and spotted all over that Cross that day.. Now our life’s because of Jesus are spotted by His blood. Because of His sacrifice we are forgiven. Something had to pay for our mistakes and all of our failures.
I tried, over, and over again. But I can never do enough good things, give enough away, sacrifice enough to cover over all my wrongs. It is impossible.
God gave us a way back, a way back to have relationship with Him.
See God looks at us daily and before Jesus came He saw our mistakes and our failures but once Jesus did what He did, He now stands in front of us and all our wrongs and makes us white as snow. God sees His son and His perfection instead of our imperfections. See our sins make us crimson red, but because of Jesus blood that was shed makes us white as snow. When you look at a color red through a red lens anything red is turned white…
Because of Him and His sacrifice all we need to do is receive Gods love for us. God has more then enough Grace to cover us. He has more then enough Mercy to surround us with. But if we don’t receive it or walk in it we are allowing Jesus sacrifice to be as nothing. When He has been trying to give us everything we are actually shutting the door in His face.
Today I pray we receive everything He has for us. Peace, Love, Joy, Forgiveness, Mercy, Grace.
By His Mercy
Joseph III
