This thought has been running through my mind, well it’s not even a thought but it’s now something I will live by, here is the thought…
His Love is Greater.
That means greater than our failures, greater than our pain, greater then our insecurity’s, greater than our brokenness, greater than our heartbreak, greater than our sickness, greater than our past, greater than our future, our present, Oh his love is just greater. Plain and simple.
The love that He showed us on the cross was just an overflow of what and how much he really loves us. The cross and its story should itself satisfy you. Because Jesus is enough. Jesus is good enough, is filling enough, is loving enough. Why do we continue to seek after these earthly things to fill us, when we need Jesus and nothing more, and nothing less.
Jesus is what has to fill us. His love was not just demonstrated on the cross but it was poured out on the cross. His sacrifice and love was not just for the chosen and loved ones but it was for EVERYONE. His love is greater than our thoughts for ourselves.
I do not know about you but I have struggled most of my life with the mirror. I have struggled with the thoughts of myself. But PRAISE God he has now given me new thoughts. And I have allowed him to speak into me. I finally have come to the realization of how powerful a tongue is. We have the power of life and death in our tongue. And at that what we speak about or over our self’s is SO IMPORTANT.
Are we speaking health? Are we speaking life? Or are we cursing our self’s and speaking death over our self’s? How often do we think of that saying? That His love is greater? That He is greater? Anything we have dealt with or are dealing with at this very moment in time, He is greater than it. He is not the good I am, but the Great I Am. He is not someone that does not take care of His children.
He is Greater than anything we are going through or dealing with, but we have to decide and speak that over our circumstances daily.
He is Greater.
