The power of our prayers, man, that has just been getting to me lately. The power we have, the authority we have been given. Not by anything we have been done but by the grace and mercy of our heavenly father. We have been given such an amazing gift, and that is to be able to have communion with our heavenly father through prayer. And the crazy thing is…. He doesn’t just hear our prayers, but He answers them.

Honestly, may not always be the answer we were looking for, but guess what, He still answered it didn’t He? We truly are blessed with so much more then we can ever imagine. I think there are something that can help us not get better at praying but get better at speaking with our heavenly father and that is talk to Him, Not like you are trying to get anything out of Him, but honestly, speaking to Him. Not reading off a wishlist, but from our day to day struggles to the blessings and awesome things He has given us. Just talking to Him, nothing more, nothing less.

That itself is a blessing to be able to say I get to talk to the creator of the universe and He listens to me. That is an awe factor on its own. One day maybe we will see this, I hope one day soon.
