There has been a refreshing spirit around me, It has been so calming so relaxing for me today. I took a personal day today, and if you do not know what that is I’ll explain it some. In my college it is called 24/7 for reason and we have one day off that is monday, so we are able to ask for 6 days off through out the year, other than monday.

So I took one today. Throughout my off day, He has just been placing a freshness, a calmness over my words and I have just been so calm today, if you have ever met me, or know me I am normally pretty hyper and very outspoken, today I feel so quiet and rested and no need to speak but just to listen.

God has been remolding me and shaping me, and refining me. He has been creating me, I guess you could say New. I believe more than anything we read the scripture of God creating us new: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (New King James Version), ‎
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. , We read over it and agree with it, but in our own terms.

We agree that we are new. But I think we all think of the same thing at least once or twice, the thought of this, “God you have refurbished me, you have remade, remolded, reshaped who I am.” When in reality yes He is doing that to you now yes I do agree with that. But in the very moment you said “yes” to Jesus He completely made you New!

You are not refurbished, you are not used, you are not broken any longer, but you are new, you are fresh, you are clean.

There is a newness about your spirit, right now. He has created you a new heart. He continues to wash you yes, but you are new. The past has no hold on you, your present has no hold on you, and your fear of your future has no hold on you. Jesus has a hold on you. Jesus is the one you must pursue, not your future. Jesus is the washer of your past. Jesus is the one that walks beside you in your present.

God has made you new, all old things has passed away and all things has become new. The newness, the freshness of God has fallen on you. I pray that you receive it with open hearts and open ears. If you have not received this newness, God has a promise in His word that says if you ask and believe it will be given to you according to His plan. Ask for the peace that surpasses all the understanding, ask for newness and for freshness, you will be given it.

I pray that you receive these things you ask your heavenly Father for, He is faithful to His word.
